The goal of this project was to create an elegant functioning closet that matched the grandeur of the client’s estate. The cabinetry is 12 feet tall with 9-foot tall bypass doors. The client wanted the closet to complement the macassar ebony and sapele pommele woodwork throughout the rest of the house. He wanted this room to combine both wood elements as well as add soft radiuses to the end cabinets of the island and entry wall. To achieve book matched sequenced fronts we acquired an entire sapele log to do the whole house woodwork. The ebony upper and sapele lower cabinets required veneer to achieve true faired radiuses
